I Thought Posting Post-Its Would Be Good For A Few Laughs

Post-it notes were introduced to the marketplace in 1977 by the 3M company, but the new product didn't catch on with the American public.

3M gave it another try in 1978, when free samples were distributed in Boise, Idaho, and two years later Post-it notes were being sold from coast-to-coast.

31 years later you're not likely to find an office in the United States that doesn't use the canary yellow Post-it that was trademarked by 3M.

Yes, Post-it notes are now part of the fabric of our society. As facial tissues are known as Kleenex and photocopying is known as making a Xerox pieces of stationery with a re-adherable strip of adhesive on the back, designed for temporarily attaching notes to documents, are known as Post-its.

You've seen Post-its used in office pranks, literally wallpapering an office and covering a car. But you're not likely to have seen Post-it's used as they were by a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Check out this video he made for his senior project, DEADLINE post-it stop motion...
