A Window On The World - The Secret Life of Trees

Winter blew into Northeast Ohio this week! I didn't realize how perfect it would be for a Window On The World shoot.

I typically focus on the sky and my favorite tree when shooting out the window(s). As the biting cold wind howled, it was clear this would be a different shoot.


One of the most interesting thing about flying in hot air balloons, for me, is how different the world looks from on high. The past few days, similarly, offered a view of the world we don't typically see.

I'm hoping to get some better chances to get Ohio's signature black squirrels. The way the light plays off their coat makes it hard.
