Catch a Wave You Won't Forget
About six months ago I created a blog showcase called Surfer's Paradise. It's rather simple, I see good, bad and nondescript blogs as I surf. The ones that most impress me, for whatever reason, I feature in the list.
What's evolved from that is the ===Surfer's Paradise Hullabaloo!=== carnival. This carnival is open to all bloggers, not just those who have been included in the showcase. I do hope my Surfer's Paradise blogs will be well represented.
===Surfer's Paradise Hullabaloo!=== is not going to be a themed carnival. The theme, if any, is a carnival that is consistently interesting and memorable.
The only "limitation", if it can be characterized that way, is that only English language posts will be included.
What I ask is that when you select a post, whether it's about your life, the place you live, your position on the issues of the day or blogging about your blog, you make choices that are interesting.
Whether you have one blog or ten, you can submit one post per blog. I won't promise every entry will be included, but I don't want to reject entries, so keep them interesting and we won't have any problems.
I'll be scheduling carnivals, most likely, on a monthly basis. That will be enough, I think, to keep the carnivals fresh while not making it a burden to get enough entries. I won't be publishing any carnivals with less than 20 entries. If there are not enough I'll reschedule.
If you can help me promote the launch of the carnival I'd appreciate it. The first ===Surfer's Paradise Hullabaloo!=== will be November 21st. I look forward to see you, and your friends, there!
