Who Wants To Play Tag?

So much of what you see as you bee bop around The Blogosphere is a result of people using what they see on other sites. Another popular source of material is one person tagging another to do this, that or the other.

Recently I posted a JacksonPollock.org creation to help promote the next Gonzo Blog Carnival. I thought I'd give it a try. Well, I'd say I don't think I'm very good at it. But, I don't know what good at it would be.

Personally, I think Jackson Pollock was a genius. I'd be interested to see what he'd do with this program created in his name.

It's frustrating to a degree for me being at the mercy of my mouse, however cooperative it wants to be, and working around the mousepad...which in my limited experience I have wished at times was bigger. In some ways it seems to be a blessing and in others a curse that you can't select the color you want to come up when you click.

All that said, I find it fun. I've read some comments saying people find this site addictive. It will be interesting to see how that plays out considering my past.

I'd like to start a game of tag and see if anyone will play along. The mission:

Log into JacksonPollock.org, create a picture, post it and tag five other asking them to do the same. I'm interested to see how this plays out; so I'm asking that once you've posted your picture you write a comment on this post with the URL of your picture post. Also, that you ask the people you tag to do the same, write a comment on this post.

So, let me dip into my huge list of links and ask the following people to play along:

Naomi at Diary from England; RL at My Lounge; Janey Loree at Notes That Touch The Heart; the Home Biz Blogger and finally Kilroy_60 who started all this.

I received your e-mail, but it was at the office on my laptop which I didn't bring home. For some reason, it did not also download into Outlook here at home, so . . .

I've spent time perusing your blog and here are my interview questions for you:

1. You began blogging in late 2005, but did not reveal what inspired you to begin. Care to share that with us? Was it just a desire to join the blogging craze or a specific event or person or . . .?

2. "My advice is to be thankful for each day; to make the most of the opportunities life brings your way; to endure the difficulties and enjoy the pleasures; to be thankful for the life with which you have been blessed; and finally to understand that each of us travels an individual journey and each of us are at the same time connected." Your philosophy, set forth in one of your posts, intrigues me. What person(s) and/or event(s) do you feel have been most influential in your life and led to the formation of your philosophy? How did those person(s) or event(s) impact your life? How do your many collages explain or not explain your life philosophy? (And where do you keep them all?)

3. You blogged about a job search. How is it going? What are your professional goals? Is your writing business going well (I visited your other site)?

4. How did you get starting writing resumes for other folks? You say that you have written 20,000 . . . wow!

5. 5. Do you have any regrets? If so, what? (This question is asked of everyone)

Let me know when you have posted your answers so that I can link to them!

And no, I'm not playing the Jackson Pollack game. Sorry. I have absolutely no artistic ability, even using a mouse. Moreover, his work never impressed me (sorry).
