"Danger, Will Robinson!"

What is it all about?

Little bits of time
Infinite possibilities
Faith
Emotion

I don't believe that there's a predetermined path that we tread on through life. I do, though, think that there are choices purposefully placed before us by a Greater Power.

Not simple choices, crossroads that determine the direction our life will go from that point forward. There are at times opportunities to return to "the right path"; some take us in another direction for the remainder of our journey.

What makes life life is that we don't get warning signs when we're approaching those most critical junctures. What's interesting, I think, is that the things we think are big likely are not the major intersections.

Getting married, moving to another city, state or country or deciding to change jobs are things that can be life changing. No question. Those situations, though, I believe are a result of previous decisions we made when we came to the crossroads put before us by the Greater Power. If we had made a different decision at that earlier point we would not be in the same circumstance and would not have the same options.

I believe that we should make plans, that we should have long-term goals, that we should dream of a life that could be. It's critically important, though, that we recognize the value of a moment. The moments that don't seem important, the moments that appear common maybe the moment when we are approaching those life changing crossroads.

Life is to be lived. Live it to the fullest a moment at a time.

He makes a very good point. Life comes on at us full force. The choices we make now are presented to us because of situations we have lived through in the past and decisions made for or by us.

Interesting look at pre-determined fate or otherwise, Tony. I've always been of the belief that everything happens for a reason and that we're placed in certain places or situations by some divining power.

I'm not religious, and I don't believe in one single God over everything. But I do believe there's some greater power that guides all we do.

For me, the greatest challenge in life is staying present in as many moments of the day as possible. It's so easy to look back to remember or look forward to plan, but while doing so we are missing the present.

The thing is...We are never promised tomorrow...

If you were to pass away in your sleep tonight, would you have done all the things you'd have liked to do?

Did you tell everyone all the things you'd like to say to them?

You have no idea when God has determined it to be "your time to go"...

Live every day to the fullest, and make the right decisions...

Decisions you can be proud of if things were to end for you today...

Kimberly :)
