What makes this noteworthy is that less than three weeks ago we were in the midst of arctic frigididity. It was colder in these parts than it had been in 10 years. We also had snow; a foot of it. More than there had been in 15 years!
It was one of the few times I ever went out with my camera that it was almost too cold to shoot. I've not been taking any pictures of late so it was good in any case. At least I was able to get some good snapshots.
This driveway shot may give some idea how much snow there was...

In terms of snow, this maybe the best shot. There wasn't much going on our street as far as snow plows went. They definitely didn't do this guy any favors...
